Are rear wiper blades made of unobtainium?

Rally Wagon for your time....

I going to need new wiper blades soon for my 2005 V70 (non turbo, non r as the engine somehow influences the wiper blades) so I stopped and asked at the local parts store. The parts guy had minimal issues finding me all kinds of driver/passenger options but nothing for the rear wiper.

At this rate I may just wait and add them to a FCP Euro or IPD order, as even amazon has crap for listings. If someone has the Bosch equivalent part numbers that would be awesome.

Apparently pictures are important as there are two different rear wiper arms and while I have the earlier model it should not be an issue but I’d rather not have to order and return.

Are they the old style metal ones? In the past when ever I had an issue or had some urgency for a wiper blade I simply swapped out the rubber which just slides out the metal teeth.

Is the fitment a universal or specific fit?

I get Bosch H370 for a specific fit rear wiper blade for a 2005 Volvo V70.

Bosch Sp16 for universal and

Bosch Ar16U for a retrofit blade.

Call your Volvo dealer’s Parts department and get the part number.

RockAuto lists the Bosch H370 for $7.59 for the rear wiper . No fancy beam style ones seem to be available for the rear but they have all sorts of them for the front.

I’ve tried various beam style wipers over the years, Bosch, Anco, Rain-X, Michelin, Trico, you name it . I never really felt like any of them lasted quite as long as I’d like until I arrived at Valeo. I’ve had the same set of them on my 335xi for 14 months now and only recently have they started making a little squeaking.

RockAuto has the Valeo beam style for your car for pretty cheap too.

There’s a 5% off coupon on RetailMeNot, which you put in the “how did you hear about us” box in the cart. Even with paying for shipping that seems like a fine price.

Wiper specific blade for 2015 Volvo V60,

The Bosch blade for the 2010-15 is H305.

The Bosch blade for the 2016 is H304.

Several sites say it’s the H304 for the 2015, but carparts4less says it’s the H305 for the 2010-15 and the H305 for the 2016.

Looking at the parts there isn't much in it, one is 300mm and the other is 305mm long, so both 12" just varying by a fifth of an inch.
